For example, one time I was told that God was going to humble me. This person did not even know me. In fact, I didn’t understand what they were talking about. It was a couple of years later that I remembered the word spoken to me (the vessel He used) and then the situation where he actual did it (humbled me).

Also I think we, as His children, don’t think that it is God talking to us because it is not the way “we think it should happen.” God is so much bigger than the way “we think”. In fact He said that His ways were not our ways. His thoughts were not our thoughts. Sounds like he knows what He is doing…to me..

So…if He is the same yesterday, today and forever, it seems that He has certain characteristics and methods that are constant.

By the way…I usually don’t believe everything someone tells me. I find that God has my back and I believe everything *He tells me* through His word….I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. I am the head and not the tail. He is my strong tower, my fortress, my strength…okay…I’ve got to stop or I might really get excited!

I ask because I’ve often thought He does, but then doubted myself because of what others have said to me. I mean, God’s seemingly given me a heads-up on some things, and backed them up, so I have reason to believe it was true… but like I said, I go on having twinges of doubt from time-to-time. It’d be nice to know I wasn’t the only one that believed that… I wouldn’t feel so silly! LOL
